A Green Haven
Of late, I walk in the evenings in a park close by to my house. As it is evident from the title that I have given, the park is a green haven in a true sense. It takes only a few minutes ride from my house to reach the park. The park has a separate play area, which has few swings, slides, merry-go-round and sea-saws for children. It also has many sit-outs .Then, it has a tall wall with a big clock, which is visible from any corner of the park.I usually walk in the aisle which is surrounded by lush green grasses and plants, enjoying the view of the children playing in the play area and lovers cootchie-cooing in the sit-outs . As I walk, the aroma of the herbal plants also accompany me all the way. The occasional flute performance and songs rendered by fellow walkers are a real treat for the ears. After walking for about one kilometer, I sit in a cornered sit-out to cool my body down. The cool breeze blended with the aroma of the plants create a soothing effect in me.I also update myself of the latest fashion by observing the young girls those who come to walk in the park. I also learn new ways of walking(some people do simple exercises as they walk). I learn a lot of new things from people visiting the park. In short, my walking experience will remain as sweet memories forever in my heart.
