Mumbai Terror Attack: Let the Dawn Crack the City Soon!

The terrorist attacks in Mumbai has caught the attention of the whole world. Several foreigners and guests lives are still at stake, much to the ignominy of the nation. As the terrorist attacks unfold, the death toll also raises. How many more terrorist attacks will make this nation to wake up to terrorism? How many more terrorist attacks would make our passive politicians more responsible?

One of the acclaimed writers Shoba De expressed that robotic speech of our politicians would not help the situation.True words indeed!Similarly, many people condemned the passiveness of the government through SMS to the local channels. One of the sms interestingly stated that we can send all the politicians to home and let the military rule this country.I think such opinions clearly echo the sentiments of the entire nation. It apparently shows that people have lost their faith in politicians. However, the heroic act of the local police men, Army personnel, NSG and Military Commandos came as a saving grace. But unfortunately,we have lost some of the prominent personnel, such as ATS chief Hemant Karkare,IPS officer Ashok Marutirao Kamte,Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan,NSG hawaldar Gajendra Singh and many other senior police officers in our battle against terrorism.I express my gratitude from the bottom of my heart to all those brave hearts who risked their lives for the well being of civilians.May the soul of all those who died rest in peace and may the Mumbai city come to normalcy soon.
